Mirinka's Camouflage Applications

Mirinka extends hope to patients suffering from facial aberrations, by dramatically changing their appearance and improving their outlook, without surgery.

THE CAMOUFLAGE TECHNIQUE

Lack of Pigment: Pigment and scar tissue from scarring, burns or grafts typically remain a contrasting color and do not tan, Mirinka offsets the color with the right pigments, to conceal discoloration.

Raised Stains: Birthmarks with a reddish hue (port wine stains) or blue-black angiomas are camouflaged over a period of time, using tones matched to the patient. Birthmarks covering facial features are corrected to conform exactly.

After Surgery Prosthesis: Patients who have undergone mammoplasty require care in the placement, color and texture of the reconstructed areola-nipple complex. Pigments matched to the existing nipple-areola are applied in a circular pattern utilizing a special probe attachment.

Other Medical Disorders: Mirinka conceals vitiligo in accordance with the patient's coloration. Cleft lips are refined and normalized. Eyebrows are re-created for patients who have experienced hair loss.
